Yep, that would be MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

And then ... I recently made a One Layer Card and I quite liked it so .... I don't often batch make although I DO sometimes make two "the same but different ....

Monday morning .....

Morning all,

Balloon Fiesta this past weekend and we had been so disappointed. Our pals drove 75 miles to see balloons only to find it was too windy for the mass ascent. Sunday evening saw us with dinner guests who said they had seen a fair few on the journey to ours so we assumed we'd missed out again with the wind in the wrong direction .... WRONG. Whilst "resting" between our starter and main course we nipped outside and saw these ....

This one came to earth about ¼mile from us

And time for a little crafting ....I've an ATC to share with you again today, I really love the format of ATC's and should perhaps get more active in swaps again as I've amassed quite a few now!

My ATC
Materials used:
  • ATC blank
  • Snippets of card in orange, turquoise and white
  • Stampers Anonymous crazy dog image stamped twice using Memento tuxedo black ink, once on to my white snippet and once on to a pieces of post it which I then cut out to use as a mask
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour the image and background and colours blended using sansodor and a paper stump
  • Once colours I positioned the mask over the dog and then a section of post it with a stright edge lined up between the orange and the turquoise coloured area
  • With masks in place I stamped the Stampers Anonymous crazy dog accessory (bone) using Ranger Archival mini monarch orange ink (vaguely reminiscent of Gromit's bedroom!?!?!?!)
  • Once my image was mounted on to turquoise and then orange layers I took my "S" thickness Faber Castell Pitt pen and doodled corners on the orange layer

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - challenge No. 63 - ANYTHING GOES
  2. Dragonfly Dreams - August challenge - ANIMALS
  3. Stamping Sensations - August challenge - ANYTHING GOES
